Went overboard with the camera yesterday. I'm about to close the box on #2 and #3. Here's a bunch of pics.






Lucky helped with bending the linnnings.

Wow, those are beautiful...and so clean. That's good craftsmanship.

Thanks for the pics. Don't forget the shots of the closed bodies...would like to see those, too.

PS: I think there's a small chip out of that lining that Lucky is working on. Might want to watch for that.

Nice looking guitars Marc! What is the back/side wood in the darker looking one?

BTW, we are almost neighbors. Do you ever get up to OKC?

Thanks Bill, you're right I have to keep an eye on Lucky he tends to rush his work sometimes.

Thanks Dave, yes I do get to OKC, I buy my wood there at Hogan Harwoods and occaisionly I go to the woodcraft up on May ave. Also, three kids at OU.

It's Honduras Rosewood, I found the board at my hardwood supply, it had unusual figure and different color than the rest in the pile. Black inky lines, lots of pin knots, I had to plug a couple. Only second time I've worked with it, very glassy wood, rings a lot.
